Refund policy
At Petit Lumière, we want you to be delighted with your purchase. Since our products include candles and scented goods, the following conditions apply.
1) Right of Withdrawal (EU)
If you are a consumer in Spain or the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 calendar days of receiving your order, without providing a reason, as long as the items meet the conditions below.

2) Return Eligibility Conditions
Returns are accepted only if the product:

Is unused (not burned / not tested)
-
Is in perfect condition
-
Is returned in its original packaging, including all protective materials and labels (if applicable)
3) Products That Cannot Be Returned
For hygiene and safety reasons, we do not accept returns if:

The candle has been lit, tested, or shows any sign of use (soot, burnt wick, melted wax, altered scent, etc.)

The product has been damaged due to improper use (unattended burning, drafts, unsuitable surfaces, exposure to heat/sunlight, etc.)

The return arrives damaged due to insufficient packaging

The item is marked as final sale / discounted (unless it is defective)
4) “I Don’t Like the Scent” / Change of Mind
If the product is unopened and unused, we may accept a return under the conditions outlined in section 2.
If the product has been opened or used, we cannot accept returns based on personal preference (for example: scent intensity, personal taste, or “not what I expected”).
5) Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery and include:

Photos of the item(s)

Photos of the inner packaging

Photo of the shipping label
Depending on the case, we may offer:

A replacement, or
-
A full/partial refund, or
-
A reshipment
6) Shipping & Return Costs (Spain + EU)
Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility, unless the item is defective or we made an error.
We recommend using tracked shipping. We cannot be responsible for returns lost in transit if they do not include tracking.
7) Incorrect Address / Failed Delivery
Customers are responsible for entering the correct shipping address.
If a parcel is returned due to:

Incorrect or incomplete address

Lack of access / repeated absence
-
Failure to collect the parcel from a pickup point
We may reship the order at an additional cost or refund the product amount only, minus any applicable shipping/handling fees.
8) Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you of the decision.
If approved:
Refunds will be issued to the original payment method within approximately 5 to 10 business days (depending on your bank).
Refunds may exclude:

Original shipping costs (if applicable), unless the issue was our error

Additional costs caused by an incorrect address or failed delivery
9) Fraud & Abuse
We reserve the right to refuse returns or refunds in cases of suspected abuse, including products showing signs of use when returned as “unused”.
